Asheville Region
EDUCATION LOTTERY RETAILERS RECEIVE RECOGNITION
Actively selling the lottery and providing exemplary customer service are paying off for some North Carolina Education Lottery (NCEL) retailers. Two Asheville Region retailers have increased sales from 182% to 220% and have been named "Stellar Sellers." Another retailer has been named a "S.T.A.R." for keeping its players informed and involved and for providing a comfortable, fun place to play.
NCEL retailers that have increased their sales by the highest percentage in the region compared to the previous quarter earn the title of "Stellar Seller." One location per region earns the title of "S.T.A.R." (Spectacular Technique Achieving Retailer), based on NCEL sales representative recommendations for a store's unique sales promotion technique.
