Promotion Highlights

• Promotional sales period July 14 through August 23, 2008
• To qualify for an entry into the drawings, players must make a minimum $5 purchase on a single Cash 5 ticket. (Only one entry per $5 or greater transaction)
• An ENTRY FORM will print from the terminal for each qualifying purchase to give to the player.
• Players should complete the form and mail it in for the weekly drawings. (Standard envelope no larger than 4.5" x 9.5" – One entry per envelope)
• One truck will be awarded in each drawing for a total of five vehicles.
• First drawing July 30th - final drawing September 4th.

To Receive an Entry:

An ENTRY FORM will be generated from the Lottery terminal when a minimum $5 purchase on a single Carolina Cash 5 ticket is made between July 14 and August 23, 2008, either by:

1. Selecting five sets of numbers on one play slip.
2. Selecting one set of numbers and checking the Multi-Draw box for at least five draws. (Only one Entry per $5 or greater transaction)

Enter by Mail:

Complete the ENTRY FORM by clearly printing your name, address (including city, state and zip code) and phone number. Winners will be contacted by phone, so be sure to provide a phone number where you can be reached. Sign your ENTRY FORM and place it in a standard envelope no larger than 4.5” X 9.5”. Address your envelope, affix appropriate postage and deposit into any US Mail mailbox. Only ONE ENTRY FORM per envelope is permitted. Envelopes containing more than one Entry Form or any other Online/Instant Tickets will be disqualified. If the ENTRY FORM is incomplete or illegible or does not comply with all of the standards set forth above, the entry will be disqualified.

The NCEL is not responsible for entries which are lost, stolen, damaged, destroyed, delayed or mis-delivered prior to receipt by the NCEL.

Drawing Rules:

1. You must be at least 18 years of age to claim promotional drawing prizes.
2. Each Entry is valid for one (1) drawing only.
3. Entries not received by the specified Entry Deadline for a Drawing will be automatically entered in the next scheduled drawing. Postmark dates do not qualify as meeting deadline date.
4. Entries received after the final Entry Deadline will not be eligible for any promotional drawing prizes.
5. Entrants may enter as often as they like, but are only eligible to win once during the entire promotion.
6. All drawing entries are subject to validation by the NCEL and may be disqualified if eligibility requirements are not met.
7. Entries with altered, missing, illegible, incorrect or fraudulent information will be disqualified.
8. Entry Forms must be produced from the Lottery terminal on NCEL paper stock or as otherwise provided by the NCEL. Copies of Entry Forms will be disqualified.
9. All prize winners must complete prize claim paperwork for verification before they can claim their prize.
10. Drawn Entry holders must respond within seven (7) business days of notification by the NCEL. Otherwise, an alternate winner shall be selected to win the promotional prize.
11. Prizes are not eligible for cash substitution.

Prize Claim Information:

Vehicle color selection is limited and based on availability. Each vehicle prize shall include payment by the NCEL of required state and federal withholding tax, sales tax, dealer preparation charges, set-up fees, vehicle registration, tags, title and delivery fees. Any additional federal, state and/or local taxes or other fees are the responsibility of the winner. Any vehicle insurance or license required by applicable law is the responsibility of the prize winner. If the winner is unable to provide proof of a valid license, the vehicle must be removed by trailer equipment provided by the winner or be driven by a person who is able to provide proof of a valid license. The cost of travel to take possession of a prize vehicle shall be the responsibility of the prize winner.
