RALEIGH – The N.C. Education Lottery reminds its players that a deadline to claim prizes for 12 instant scratch-off games is Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013. In November, the NCEL officially announced the end of the 12 games. Under NCEL policy, all instant game prizes must be claimed within ninety (90) days of the announced end-of-game date.
The games are $500,000 Jackpot, Junion Big Ol' Bucks, High Roller, $20,000 Clubs, Wheel of Fortune, Count Up Cash, In The Chips, Love to Win, The Three Stooges, NASCAR Ultimate Fan, Fast Cash Bingo and Electric 7's.
Claims under $600 can be made at a lottery retailer before midnight on Feb. 28. Claims of $600 to $99,999 must be made at one of the six regional claims centers before 5 p.m. on Feb. 28, while claims of $100,000 and above must be made at NCEL headquarters in Raleigh before 5 p.m. on that day. Claims that are mailed to the NCEL must be received within 90 days of the official end-of-game date. Postmarks will not satisfy the 90-day requirement.
