RALEIGH – The N.C. Education Lottery reminds its players that a deadline to claim prizes for 15 instant scratch-off games is Thursday, Dec. 12. On August 30, the NCEL officially announced the end of the 15 games. Under NCEL policy, all instant game prizes must be claimed within ninety (90) days of the announced end-of-game date.
Claims under $600 can be made at a lottery retailer before midnight on Dec. 12. Claims of $600 to $99,999 must be made at one of the six regional claims centers before 5 p.m. on Dec. 12, while claims of $100,000 and above must be made at NCEL headquarters in Raleigh before 5 p.m. on that day. Claims that are mailed to the NCEL must be received within 90 days of the official end-of-game date. Postmarks will not satisfy the 90-day requirement.
The games are Cash Spectacular, Quick Bucks, $100,000 Taxes Paid, 20X The Money, 3X The Payout, Bejeweled, Fast $50, Instant Carolina Cash 5, Spades, 10X The Payout, Blackjack Tripler, Diamonds 4X, Lucky Green, Hot Streak and Power 7's.
